Biographie

David Proença | 32 ans | de Lisbonne


Il a suivi le cours de cuisine et de pâtisserie de l'Association des cuisiniers professionnels du Portugal.

Sa carrière professionnelle a débuté en 2013 dans des restaurants renommés tels que le restaurant Bica do Sapato et l'hôtel Ritz Four Seasons, tous deux à Lisbonne. Il a ensuite rejoint l'équipe d'ouverture de l'hôtel InterContinental d'Estoril avec le chef Jorge Fernandes.

En 2016, il quitte la ville pour la campagne et commence son aventure dans l'Alentejo, comme chef de cuisine à la Herdade da Matinha (Cercal do Alentejo) et plus tard comme sous-chef à l'hôtel Alentejo Marmoris à Vila Viçosa.

Il a ouvert son propre restaurant, Afeto Restaurant, à Santiago do Cacém et, en 2022, a relevé le défi d'ouvrir le nouvel hôtel Sines Sea View en tant que chef exécutif, poste qu'il occupe actuellement.
