Bio

Tomás Pereira | 25 yo | From Lisbon


He graduated from the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril and later from the Escola Superior do Estoril.

His journey through the kitchen includes experiences in restaurants and hotels such as Feitoria Restaurant*, Ritz Four Seasons Hotel, Marriott Lisbon Hotel, and Areias do Seixo. It also involves undertaking various international internships, with a notable highlight being at the British restaurant The Fat Duck***.

In 2021, he also worked at the Norwegian restaurant MAAEMO***, similarly distinguished with three Michelin Stars and a Green Star.

Since 2019, he has been a member of the Culinary Competition team, representing Portugal in various international competitions and earning 3 bronze medals and 2 silver medals.

Currently, he divides his time among several sustainability projects and consultancies. He also works as a cooking and sustainability trainer at ACPP. Additionally, he is the creator of "TheCookLabProject," an initiative aimed at enhancing the value of Portuguese products through molecular gastronomy, promoting healthy and sustainable consumption.
