Our restaurant was once again the stage for emerging Portuguese Chefs!

Over the last five months, we've presented you to the 2nd Edition of Unforgettable Chefs, curated by our Executive Chef Jorge Fernandes! Café Príncipe Real was once again the stage for 10 promising young Chefs to present their creations.

Meet the Chefs:

Chef Francisco Martins

He has been connected to the sea for most of his life, first in surfing and then in sushi. In 2011, with his time at Noori Sushi and Coral Sushi Concept, he developed his career in this type of cuisine. In 2015, he launched his Besushi project, where you can still find him today.

Chef André Morais

He began his professional career when he was just 16, and in 2008 he met his mentor, Chef Justa Nobre. In 2012 he travelled to Germany and in 2016 he returned to the restaurant "O Nobre", where we can still found him.

Chef Sérgio Carola

In 2017 he was given the opportunity to take on his first managerial position as Sub-Chef at the Reserva da Villa Restaurant and in 2023 he became Executive Chef at the Aethos Hotel. We can find him at Madrasta Restaurant everyday.

Chef Marta Nunes

She began her professional career at the Tabik Restaurant at the Bessa Hotel Liberdade and in 2022, she took on the position of Junior Sub-Chef at Chef Louise Bourrat's Boubou's Restaurant, where you can find her every day.

Chef Tiago Silva & Chef Constança Mourão

They met at the Hotel Sublime Comporta, in 2020. After spending the 2023/2024 winter season at the Grade La Margna St Moritz Hotel, they returned in 2024 to Sublime Comporta.

Chef Nuno Seixas

With previous experience at the Hotel Inspira Santa Marta and the Hotel InterContinental do Estoril as a Sub-Chef, he is currently the Chef at the Hotel Baía, Cascais.

Chef Sebastião Vasconcelos

After an internship at the Epic Sana Hotel in Lisbon and experiences in catering, he became Chef at the Mesa do Bairro restaurant in Lisbon.

Chef David Proença

In 2016 he headed to Alentejo where he consolidated his repertoire, opened his own space and opened the new Sines Sea View Hotel as Executive Chef, a position he currently holds.

Chef Tomás Pereira

With a career marked by experience in renowned hotels and restaurants, he is a cookery and sustainability trainer at the ACPP and creator of "TheCookLabProject", a project that aims to valorise Portuguese products through molecular cuisine.
