Bio
Marta Nunes . 25 yo. From Palmela.
Passionate about gastronomy, she began her career by deciding to enter the Setúbal Hotel and Tourism School, followed by a course in Kitchen Management and Production at the Lisbon Hotel and Tourism School.
She worked as a trainee in some of the most famous Fine Dining restaurants in the Portuguese capital, such as Feitoria* and Alma**, and also at the L'and Vineyards Hotel in Montemor-o-Novo.
She began her professional career at the Tabik Restaurant in the Bessa Hotel Liberdade. This was followed by the Bairro Alto Hotel in Lisbon and then the Sublime in Comporta.
In September 2022, she embarked on her biggest challenge yet, taking on the role of Junior Sub-Chef at Chef Louise Bourrat's Boubou's Restaurant, where she can be found on a daily basis.
Her career highlights include winning the Young Talent in Gastronomy Competition in the Young Professional Cookery Category in 2022. That same year, she was part of the Junior Culinary Competition Team, which took part in the World Culinary Championship in Luxembourg, and is currently part of the Senior Culinary Competition Team.
