A communications entrepreneur, life coach, mentor and creator of health and wellness content for TV and digital, Bárbara’s professional career began in marketing and communications and as an expert lifestyle advisor. For around 10 years she had a lifestyle programme on “SIC Mulher” channel named "bemy guest", and a website with the same name.
Eight years ago, she began studying the areas of health and well-being and found her passion and purpose in life: to help people lead healthier and happier lives!
Bárbara is the founder of bslow - Slow Aging, Slow Living, Slow Down, which offers mentoring services, workshops, team buildings, retreats and consultancy. She also created the digital magazine bslow.pt
She has her own method, Slow Aging, which is based on the most important pillars of the body: the mind and the soul. Through mentoring programmes, workshops and Slow Aging retreats (now in their 15th edition) she helps people integrate routines and habits into their lives so that they can be more productive, healthy and happy.
Mentor of the digital programmes "Detox, Corpo, Mente & Alma" and "Corpo de Verão o Ano Todo!", she has helped hundreds of people.
After taking part in Masterchef, she created the programme "Saúde na Ponta do Garfo" (Health at the Point of the Fork) where she shares recipes with the motto "using food as our medicine".
She is the author of the book "Slow Aging" and created the podcast "Slow Talks" where she shares inspiration and tips for a healthier and happier life with the help of various experts in the fields of health and well-being.
Certified by the Manu School of Yoga, Bárbara is a yoga teacher and also a Multidimensional Therapist and Life Coach for Wellbeing and Happiness by the Behavioural Wellbeing Institute.
